I always stay at this hotel in Flums. The friendly staff made my first visit enjoyable by helping my elderly parents. The amenities, including a TV and cots, suit me perfectly. I'll be back for my city trip.

This hidden gem in the hills blew my mind! The hosts went above and beyond, serving us a delicious dinner even when the restaurant was closed. The quiet and spotless rooms provided breathtaking views of the town and the stunning castle in the backdrop. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful scenery and was just a short drive away from the lake and ski slopes. The evening meals may have been a tad pricey, but the English menu and the extraordinary setting made up for it. The basic but satisfying breakfast fueled us for the day. A great spot for motorbikers and a lovely riverside walk to nearby Flums added to the fun.

I recently stayed at Hotel Grapplang for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, situated high up on a hillside with a commanding view of the valley. Even though my satnav got a bit lost due to new roads, it was worth it for the breathtaking scenery. The staff were considerate enough to provide an abridged menu in English, which was a nice touch. The location is also ideal, with a ruined castle adjacent to the hotel and a fabulous view of the mountains up the valley. Despite the noise from a nearby rockwool factory, the room was quiet and comfortable thanks to double glazing. a beautiful location with a Burg ruin in the rear and fantastic mountain scenery to enjoy.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
